A Meditation for Transformation
Reaching for compassion, speaking to our fear & grief
Dear Friend,
The last Sunday in October is here.
I hope that wherever you are, whatever you’re doing and holding, whatever you’re feeling that you find moments of compassion—for yourself and for the state of the world.
It’s the final Sunday of the month—for folks who are new here, that’s when I share a Guided Meditation + writing prompt. Take a listen to today’s meditation about reaching out to our fear at the arrow above. Then return to the writing prompt below to capture your experience and discoveries.
In this meditation, we’ll get quiet, ground ourselves in a safe place and have a moment to invite our fears to show up and speak. I believe that part of transformation is getting to know everything in our shadows—both our fears and untapped potential.

Writing Practice: Set aside 5-7 minutes for this practice. Write in a journal or open a ‘Journey with The Season’ document where you can return each Sunday.
Prompt: Listen to the meditation at the arrow at the top of the page. What images came up during this meditation? What did it feel like to be in your space place? What did your fear have to say? What did it feel like to invite fear in?
*If you skipped the guided meditation, write about the fears you’ve been holding–for yourself or for the world. Give yourself the opportunity to pour them out on the page.
